The CHILDREN of CTHULHU. By H.P. LoveCraft (and various authors)
In the first story in the book, the chapter is called Details, a young boy see's a image within cracked wood or in tangle of branches in trees, further in the story he relizes in the details that the images of are the devil. I have not really got that far in the book but I feel like this book will have plenty of scary moments farther into each story.

This book sounds really interesting and if it were a movie i would probably go see it. I would be too scared to read about it, though. I'm curoius to find out what happens.
